The 2025 Bachelor of Arts Exhibition (BAX) at 乐播传媒入口 is now open to the public at the 乐播传媒入口 Museum of Art (GCMoA). The annual event showcases the works of third- and fourth-year studio art students and provides a platform for students to present their artistic endeavors in a professional setting. The exhibition runs through May 22.

The 2025 Bachelor of Arts Exhibition (BAX) runs through May 22.

The exhibition is a collaborative effort between the GCMoA staff, art faculty, and the Art Student Educational Policy Committee (SEPC). This year, art faculty members Robin Strangfeld and Emily Yurkevicz worked closely with the SEPC to bring the exhibition to fruition. Students manage many of the exhibition details, including the selection of a juror and the creation of an exhibition catalogue and website.

Summer Ventis 鈥02, assistant professor of printmaking at California State University, Sacramento, served as this year鈥檚 juror. Ventis describes her work as engaging the reciprocal relationship between inner and outer space, between people and our environments, in the landscapes of the Western and Midwestern United States. She earned her BFA in printmaking from the University of Colorado, Boulder in 2012.

The exhibition includes photographs, drawings, sculpture, paintings, video, installations, and works created digitally. Awards are made possible by the Inez Louise Henley Memorial Fund, Tammy J. Zywicki 鈥93 Memorial Fund, Louis Glenn Zirkle Memorial Fund, and the Henry-York Steiner Memorial Fund.
